Insulin Safety Week 2026
CDEP supported Insulin Safety Week by offering free access to their Hybrid Closed Loop (HCL) topic from 11–17 May 2026. With this year’s theme focused on diabetes technology, the campaign was a great opportunity to help health and social care staff learn about the latest advances in diabetes care.
The campaign was a huge success, and there was excellent engagement across CDEP's platforms:
- 530 new health and social care staff registered a CDEP account.
- 1,254 CDEP diabetes topics were started – the real win!
- 371 people undertook the HCL training.
- 81% of people who started the HCL topic completed it!
